This week's
Tuesday's with Dorie, I actually made while I was still in Los Angeles. These were chosen by Jacque of
Daisy Lane Cakes. I was trying to clean out my fridge, and I didn't have cottage cheese, but I did have sour cream. So that's what I used.

I wasn't terribly impressed by these. They were okay, but working with the dough was a nightmare. I had to use sooo much flour to get these to roll out. I went with a round shape just because. It probably would have been less work to do squares into triangles, but too late now. For the filling, I used the
strawberry balsamic jam I made earlier. They were tasty, but for the work that they took, I thought they would be a little more exciting. Maybe if I made them bigger. Perhaps my other fellow bakers had better luck.

They look cute piled up in the pretty bowl. Mine were so tiny too and I think I should have made them bigger.
So now you're baking in Libya?! I'll be interested to read more about that!
i really like the bowl you have those in.
Hey cool! Way to improvise. THey look like they turned out just fine.
Thanks for baking along this week :)
Cute and yummy!
Strawberry balsamic jam, yum. I know what you mean...these were so much effort for the results they gave.
